Church’s light shines bright in New Orleans

In the early days of Katrina recovery, Rayne Memorial United Methodist became a hub for housing and deploying volunteer teams that came to muck and gut the houses around New Orleans.

Church brings vital aid to flood victims in Tanzania

The United Methodist Church — with support from UMCOR — came to the aid of hundreds of families affected by devastating floods in Tanzania.

Church helps thousands of displaced families in Congo

Financial support from UMCOR helped to provide food, necessities and feminine hygiene items to more than 12,500 people displaced by war.

Church helps feed prisoners in Congo

With support from UMCOR, United Methodists in Southern Congo provided food and other supplies to inmates at a Kasapa prison. Church leaders also brought a message of hope.
