Church on front line against mpox in Africa

As mpox cases rise, the church is mobilizing in Congo, the epicenter of the outbreak. From pastors to health relays, United Methodists are working to inform local communities about the virus and treatment.

Church helps thousands of displaced families in Congo

Financial support from UMCOR helped to provide food, necessities and feminine hygiene items to more than 12,500 people displaced by war.

Church helps feed prisoners in Congo

With support from UMCOR, United Methodists in Southern Congo provided food and other supplies to inmates at a Kasapa prison. Church leaders also brought a message of hope.

Disaster Relief
